WHAT IS A COMPUTER?

What is a computer?

A computer is a electronic system that receives and process datums and become it in useful information.

But, How can a computer can communicate with us?

First of all, a computer is compound of two parts, the hardware and the software.
Hardware is the physical part of the PC. Examples of hardware is the screen, the tower, the keyboard, etc.
Software is the untouchable part. The programs and the operating system are examples of software

When we want to transmit information to the computer, it interprets as 0 and 1. This is the binary Code. It means that, for example, when we want to write something, the computer don't understand the letters, so he use binary code for interpret it as 0 and 1, that basically are orders of open and close, that when is close, an electronic pulse can pass (1), and when is open can't pass (0). (for example, imagine that letter A means 0101. The computer use the sequence open-close-open-colse to interpret the letter A).  When the computer process the datums, become it in on information that we can understand.

For execute a program, like a operative system, there is a source code, who is series of text that are the instruction to execute a program. By changing those text, you can format an operate system for example (like Linux or Ubuntu, but not Windows or Mac Os because they can not be hacked). With source code, you can create Virus or Anti-virus or any other program if you know enough of formatting.
